Volunteer Departments, Terms & Expectations

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Since we are working in an environment that involves intellectual discourse, public interaction and human engagement, the following conditions are mandatory:

  • 1. Professional Conduct is Mandatory Volunteers must maintain discipline, politeness, and respectful communication at all times.
  • 2. Zero Tolerance Policy Any form of nuisance, misconduct, harassment, discrimination, intoxication, indiscipline, or disruption of festival harmony will NOT be entertained.
  • 3. Legal Action Clause In case of serious misconduct, defamation, damage to property, harassment, or violation of law, strict disciplinary and legal action may be taken.
  • 4. Confidentiality Internal discussions, guest information, and organizational matters must not be shared publicly without authorization.
  • 5. Attendance & Commitment Volunteers must report on time and complete assigned duties responsibly.
  • 6. Chain of Command All volunteers must report to their respective Department Heads and follow instructions.
  • 7. No Unauthorized Access Access to restricted areas, backstage, or author zones without permission is strictly prohibited.
  • 8. Social Media Discipline No unofficial announcements, controversial posts, or misrepresentation of the festival brand.
  • 9. Dress Code & Uniform Compliance Official volunteer uniform must be worn during duty hours.
  • 10. Team Ethics Respect diversity of thought, culture, and background. We are working with ideas and minds — sensitivity and maturity are essential.
