Born and raised in Lucknow, she grew up in a culturally rich environment that continues to influence her writing. She pursued her undergraduate studies in History at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, followed by a Master’s degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her academic grounding has shaped her nuanced understanding of society, which is reflected in both her administrative work and literary narratives.
