Sh. Chaitanya K. Prasad is 1991 batch of Indian Information Service and currently Head of Communication and Outreach, Ministry of Education Govt. of India.
Mr. Prasad has published numerous articles on Cinema, Film Festivals. Branding of Cinema and contemporary issues related to the industry in prominent publications His areas of expertise include Strategizing Govt. Communication, Media Planning and Management, Public Broadcasting and News Dissemination, Content Creation for Social Media Perception Management and Public Affairs. He also served in the capacity of Head of the Education Working Group for the Education Vertical during the G20 Presidency of India. He coordinated the education interventions and policy papers with G20 Countries. He has authored two books “The Age of Influence” a collation of articles on Geostrategic Communication, Branding, Cinema, Film Festivals and Media Management and “When Branding Met The Movies” a witty observation of the movie magic and how branding accelerates it.
Mr. Prasad has rich experience in handling matters related to Cinema, Managing Film Festivals, Organizing several editions of the IFFI including the 50th Golden Jubilee Edition at Goa. He has curated and organized several editions of the National Film Awards. He has led several delegations abroad at leading International Film Festivals.
He has a Masters and M. Phil degree in International Relations from Allahabad University and JNU. He has also been a Commonwealth scholar.
